Horacio Llorens, right before a perfect landing on the float

Horacio wins in Villeneuve (26.08.2011)

Horacio Llorens wins again - this time in Villeneuve.

With his Radix II, it seems even harder than before to beat Horacio Llorens. In Villeneuve Horacio finished the competition on top of the podium in front of youg Eliot Nochez from France and Pal Takats.

Horacio says: "The competition was great, very good weather, a lot of public and tension in every battle, the pilots liked the system and we hope that there will be more competitions like this in the future. "

RR at El Yelmo (01.08.2011)

Raul and Horacio flying very different gliders

Like in the previous years, Raul Rodriguez and Horacio Llorens came to the International Air Festival, FIA 2011, which is held in El Yelmo. The spectators enjoyed a spectacular synchro acro show with smoke flares, as well as a demonstration of the RR BASE System.

The system gets more and more known among pilots, because they see the improvement of safety, this system offers.

Raul also competed in a paramotor free style competition. He flew his Radix II with a PXP 180 that was giving him an amazing speed and finished third.

Radix II (18.07.2011)

Finally the new RR competition glider is ready. The Radix II is an evolution of the Radix and we could improve it in all aspects. Raul Rodriguez says about his new toy:

"We did a lot of changes on the line setup, and also some improvements on the canopy. All this toghether makes the Radix II much easier for Helicopters and Tail Slides. Also the combinations, like helico to SAT, SAT to Helico or Helico to Helico got a lot better.

Rhythmic SAT works very well, as well as the Anti Rhythmic which is necessary to perform the new manouvre "Esfera". We have replaced the mylar reinforcements with rigid nylon rods, which make the glider lighter and more stable at the same time. And we also changed the brake, allowing more control."

The Radix II comes with the new RR brake with the two handles. This helps a lot for manouvres where you need maximum power, like for Mac Twist, or SAT to Helico. Radix II will be available in 3 sizes: 21.0, 29.5, 17.7 and soon in 17.0.
